Modeling Portfolio Photography
Do you have aspirations achieving a career in modeling?  No matter if you are just starting out or have been involved with modeling/acting, having a great set of photos in your portfolio is no longer just a nice thing to have, but a key first ingredient to your success.  Modeling is an extremely competitive business and by looking great in your photos, you are already placing yourself ahead of the competition!

During your initial interview with an agency, having photography shot by a professional will allow those who you are meeting with to envision your style and the different looks you are able to achieve. Be it for a beginner or a long time professional model, you want to clearly illustrate the many looks they may be searching for...

My standard portfolio package includes:
$650.00

• A brief pre shoot meeting to discuss the look and feel you are wishing to achieve

• A photo shoot lasting a minimum of 90 minutes to 2 hours (studio and on location)

• Typically 3-4 outfit changes (more if required at no additional charge)

• Approximately 75-125 exposures

• A password protected gallery of proofs (no post processing)

• Your choice of 4 images from your proofs to license and use.  The images will be post processed for correct color calibration and retouching of any unwanted facial blemishes. These images are yours to use for all self promotional purposes, including but not limited to comp cards, headshots, magazine/television features, etc. You will receive 4 8x10s of each image, as well as, the digital files of the four images for your self promotional use.

• 24 Wallet pictures.

• A second photo shoot after 6 months at no charge!

In order to plan and reserve your shoot, you will need to:

• Contact me (mayk@wowway.com/812-449-2935) to set up a time to meet and discuss your shoot.  Although this can be accomplished with a phone call, meeting at my studio or the comfort of your home can also be done. During the brief meeting, we will also lock down dates for your shoot.

• During our meeting, you will also need to pay the refundable deposit for your shoot.

What should you bring to the shoot?
Remember, the goal for any modeling portfolio shoot is to illustrate and promote your looks, style, and marketability.  You will be able to accomplish this by:

• Bringing several different outfits covering a variety of looks-be it professional, casual, trendy, etc.

• Bringing as many accessories as you wish to compliment each of your outfits.

• If your wear glasses, try to also bring a pair without the glass in them.

• If you have a certain style of music you like to listen to-bring the CDs.

• Bringing along any hair styling/make-up products.  My studio has a full size changing/bathroom for your private use.

• Bringing as many 'props' to enhance to your shoot (ie musical instrument, trophies, etc.) I also have a wide range of props that can be used for your shoot.  A sample of these can be seen HERE.

• If model is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must also be in attendance or sign a waiver. No exceptions to this rule.
